Carly Deyton is a photographer who focuses on events, homewares, food, wine and, of course, her yellow lab Cappie a.k.a. the best dog in the world.
Carly graduated cum laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008 with a degree in photography. She continues her photography in a freelancing capacity, including several spreads for The South Magazine and Savannah Women's Journal. Although photography is her most tailored pursuit, her interests span many artistic genres. In May of 2008, her exhibition Patterns featured quilts made from photographs printed on fabric.
Cappie Deyton, Carly's yellow lab, thinks of herself as the brains of the operation. Cappie's sleeping habits and model-like attitude provide endless opportunities for photo sessions which have made Carly the artist she is today. Cappie would like to thank the Academy.
Carly's enthusiasm makes her accomplishments more than just art for arts sake; they create a little corner of the world where anything is possible and everyone is invited.
